This is the fourth and final book in the End of Eternity series! No more cliffhangers.

Surrendering herself to the monster that has destroyed her family, Carmen follows his instructions while secretly hoping for a moment when she can gain the upper hand. Having reached her final breaking point, she will take no more of watching her loved ones get hurt because of one depraved man's psychotic behavior. Carmen takes matters into her own hands, and lies in wait for the moment when she can make her move and end this.

And she will end this: once and for all.

In the meantime, Owen is hurt and confused by Carmen's sudden rejection, and considers reconciling with his girlfriend Caroline and getting married to her. He realizes that things might have moved too quickly with Carmen, but he can't seem to get her out of his mind as he tries to move on...

  1. Ugh...what can I say...I had actually started reading this series on a whim because the suicide of Carmen's husband in book 1's description caught my eye. I quickly liked Carmen...her thoughts and emotional waves pulled me in. She was a bit quick to try an replace her spouse, but in her state I guess anything would be possible. All books in the series are quick reads. I read them all within a dreary day. Each character is charming in their own way and it easy to relate to their personalities. Except for one. Owen. I just can't wrap my head around this man. I find it difficult to accept him as a heterosexual, for one, and for two...he is utterly spineless and simply not strong enough to be with Carmen. I kept trying to like him...he was funny enough at times...sarcastic at others, but it was too much...so much that I found myself so disappointed in him. I can't accept his willingness to so easily give up and give in and not stand up for himself...ever! The conclusion was such a disappointment. I find myself again feeling sorry for Carmen because if Owen is who she ends up with???...ugh, bad decision again. I seriously could have read that Liam had dragged Owen kicking and screaming like a little bitch back to Carmen and had the same unsettling feeling at the end...it was painful! If there is eventually a 5th book in this series, Owen must man up and face reality no matter his sexuality, because at this point, he is so weak he is pathetic.

  2. Iam truly disappointed by the 3rd book. I'm not sure I 'm as curious as to buy the 4th one. I was hoping fof more imagination, action, drama. It was just boring and pathetic.
